• A History of a people

  A brief written history of the Dranii Dark Elves
  
  -First recorded history starts with the first Dranii settlement along the river Dunmaire in an area with similar
  geography and climate to Poland.
  
  - Three other tribal settlements were near the same river The Salitium ( Canine dominated city-state), Nebo Terra (Mixed race society dominated by magic users), and a tribe that refers to themselves as the Legion ( Slave army of mixed races controlled by Anthro Dragons)

  -The Salitium a Canine dominated city state run much like the Greek city state of Sparta. Has a high belief of superiority and tries to exercise control over all others by force.
  
  -Military biased on fighting in the open and strength in numbers as well as the strength of individual fighters.
  
  
  -Nebo Terra: A relatively peaceful city until a magical event called the FrostFire happened. Suddenly they became aggressive towards the other cities. Though currently they just abduct people for magical experiments.
  
  -The Legion: A massive slave army that serves a small clan of anthro dragons. Their goal is simply to conquer and enslave more people.
  
  -Peace lasted for awhile and around the time the Dranii establish a stable village with farms, fishing,and mining they were attacked by the Salitium.
  
  - For 20 years thier village was occupied by the Salitium and with the help of the Terran's a resistance was able to overthrow the occupation force and steal their equipment. Fortifications and smithing began to be developed in the town.
  
  -Salitium forces moved to attack the Dranii again and lead by the Man who would become the first Lord of the Dranii they defeated their attackers and denied their enemies rights to burial and used the corpses as fertilizer and took their clothes, jewelry, armor and weapons and used the materials to help themselves.
  
  -Peace existed for 20 years as the town grew and raised proper stone defensive walls. After the events of the FrostFire, the current Dranii leader Hadrin establish the decree that required all citizen to join the military and undergo training.
  
  -The Legion appears and lays siege to the city around seven separate times.
  
  -After defeat of the Legion the Dranii go on the offensive and expand their territory constantly skirmishing with the Salitium and the Nebo Terrans.
  
  
  Religion
  
  The Dranii believe in a small pantheon of gods and goddesses. Most of which are former leaders ascended to godhood. Like: Varen the Savior, Hadrin the protector, Draliana the Harvester, and Kaizer the Bloody.
  
  Original pantheon of gods: Drizi (The Mother of all), Aldrin (God of War and Honor), Kaida (The Guardian of Nature)
  
  The Dranii are a religious group who praise Drizi for all the miracles of life, Aldrin for victory or protection in battle. And Kaida is mainly a deity for the farmers, fishers, and miners to praise. Though now some of the leaders of old are praised like Drizi.
  
  The Hall of Heroes is a crypt and temple to Aldrin it is believed the heroes buried here may join the pantheon of the gods.Many believe only Dranii are allowed to enter the building.
  
  
  Culture
  
  The easiest way to compare their culture is to Rome. Major political decisions are left to the vote of elder senators. They have had massive advances in architecture. Public baths are common as are arena fight which are used to help train soldiers and leaders.
